Dakura Anti-Fog, Smoke

Vapor Shield is a military-grade anti-fog lens that is ideal for extreme conditions and impervious to fog. As with our other Edge safety glasses, this model blocks 99.9% of dangerous UVA/UVB/UVC rays and complies with tough ANSI (American National Standards Institute) standards for protecting against high velocity and high mass impact. Glasses wrap around the face to offer complete protection without the visual distortion found in some less expensive glasses. Smoke lenses are considered the perfect all-around tint for standard shading in full or partial sunlight. Anti-fog coating helps to keep your vision clear by allowing moisture to roll off lenses and repelling fog and steam. If you need the top-of-the-line in anti-fog glasses, this is the product for you!

Vapor Shield Lens

Vapor Shield lenses feature a military-grade vapor-repellant coating to keep your vision clear in even the worst conditions. Think of these as a super-charged version of the regular Edge anti-fog lens, which the company notes was the first "truly anti-fog set of lenses in safety eyewear."

Edge Safety Eyewear

Edge eyewear complies with tough American National Standards Institute standards. ANSI is a private, non-profit organization that administers and coordinates the U.S. voluntary standardization and conformity assessment system. ANSI creates the standards that the U.S. Occupational Safety & Health Administration upholds and enforces. All Edge Eyewear glasses are compliant with ANSI Z87.1+ 2003 standards and meet U.S. Military Eyewear Ballistic Impact Resistance Requirements – MIL-PRF-31013 clause 3.5.1.1, MIL-V-43511 clause 3.5.10.

These are unisex, one-size-fits-all glasses, yet we found the frames to offer an acceptable fit in terms of both comfort and functionality. Everyone’s experience will be a little different based on bone structure etc. , but in general we think Edge has done a great job creating glasses that will conform to fit the vast majority of users.

A note for those interested in the origin of names: Each frame style is named for a mountain; Dakura takes its name from a high peak in Nepal that’s been climbed only once or twice.
