It supplies the most comprehensive UV-ray protection available in a hat – protecting both face and neck with 50+ UPF, the highest ultraviolet protection factor available. This means that 98% of UV rays are prevented from passing through the fabric. Because of its UV protection this is Liz’s hat of choice. This comfortable hat weighs only 3 ounces, has a wicking sweat band and chin strap with cord lock, packs flat and has a rear sizing tape that customizes it to fit most adults (anyone with a head circumference of 21-23 inches, measured above eyebrows and ears).
